 about Rapture In Sight

"Now these Jews were more noble than those in Thessalonica; they received the word with all eagerness, examining the Scriptures daily to see if these things were so." - Acts 17:11

"But test everything; hold fast to what is good." - 1 Thessalonians 5:21

welcome

One of my most vivid childhood memories involves a bedtime ritual of tuning in on a digital clock radio circa late 70s/early 80s to a local Christian station to ride the Bible Bus with Dr. J. Vernon McGee. I was too young to grasp the theological depth, but I derived comfort from his wizened Southern drawl and, on some level, his exposition of the Word.

My influences bridged the gap between evangelical mainstream and Word of Faith charismatic, owing to a maternal grandmother whose television was perpetually stuck on a single channel round-the-clock: Trinity Broadcasting Network.

For the sake of transparency, a brief disclaimer: I write as a layperson, without formal seminary training or pastoral credentials, and yet guided and informed by the same Spirit that has enlightened believers throughout Church history. If that's a deal-breaker for you, then accept my heartfelt thanks for stopping by. If not, feel free to check in for new content to be released, Lord willing, on a regular basis. In either case, grace and peace to you.
